Mission Complete

3rd year in a row of Nablopomo = DONE.
Some days were really easy writes and others came in just under the wire because they were hard to pull out of my head.  We've had a lot going on this month in terms of doctor stuff for Ollie so my brain was busy dealing and sorting through other things.  I am happy I did it again this year, I find that it helps get the wheels greased.  There seems to be a rut that I fall into around September every year.  Maybe it's the whole "holy crap the year is almost over, Christmas it coming!".
This challenge shows up at just the right time to keep me going into the new year.

to the right

Hey everyone, look over there, way over there, to the right, there's a new button.  I found out that some people don't re-visit sites if they can't get them in their readers, I wasn't too sure what that was so I looked it up, thank you internet.  I now have a button to facilitate everyones reading adventures.  Is there anything else that could be added to the site to make lives easier?
This has really been a learn as I go along type of deal.  So let me know and I'll look it up and learn how to do it.

A new look

The blog looks a little different now.  I had gotten bored with the old look and find that the new colors are easier on the eyes.  I also have some new buttons over there on the right, quick links to my Facebook, Pinterest and even one if you feel the need to send me an email.  I have decided to figure some stuff out and teach myself different online and blogging things.  You never know when these skills will come in handy.

Bad Blogger

I have been a horrible blogger recently.  We have been vey busy recently.  A lack of employes at my job means that I work a lot more hours and lots of weekends.  2 weeks ago it was Louis' birthday, we didn't do anything big, it was celebrated over a few days. there was no cake(too hot to bake) just a few presents. We spent a day at the market with the Instax Mini 7s that I got him.  Since Louis works construction he gets 2 weeks off in the summer, we are currently in the middle of his vacation.  Last weekend we went down to Toronto, went to a VW show and spent a day at the zoo(picture post to come) and this weekend we are currently at my grandmothers house, helping out and taking some time to relax.  My mom is here also.  We have had a pretty sporadic schedule.  Lots of time spent in the car, working odd hours while still keeping the kiddo and us sane.  Next Sunday we are going to a VW car show about a hour or so from our place.  After that we will probably be helping out at Louis' parents new house as it is still being renovated.  I'm off to go spend some quality time with family.  Will post again soon.

Something looks, Different #2

Something else I decided to add was a contact page, pretty self explanatory, a little list of way to contact me.  Is there anything else that you think I should add or change about the blog?  I am always open for ideas.  Oh I almost forgot, if you look off to the right side you will see cute buttons of blogs that I read.  There are still a few that I would like buttons for but that are currently buttonless.  Do you have a blog for me to follow?  Link to it in the comments and I will take a look at it.

Something looks, Different

I decided to try and figure out how to make a more effective and clean looking blog.  I wanted to have the tabs on the top of the page to help with navigation but I didn't know how.  I started looking around online then came to notice that Blogger recently added a Gadget to get it done quickly and easily.  I was bothered by the amount of space that my archive was taking so that was the first thing to get a page of it's own.  It didn't take too much time to do once I figured out how to do it.  Then I found that there was something else missing.  There wasn't much information about me.  At first the blog was mostly for family members who already knew me, the blog has since grown to include followers that I know from their blogs and others that I do not know very well at all.  Off I went creating an about me page that I decided to title Me, Us, We.  This represents the progression of just Me to Louis and Me, then the big transition of Louis, Ollie and Me.
What do you think of the new changes?
